MiniFreak V fuses digital sound engines with modeled analog filters, spontaneous modulation and playful sequencing into one addictive instrument. Six polyphonic voices, two engines and a modulation system that begs to be abused — this is Arturia’s most experimental synth, now fully in software.

Dual-engine hybrid architecture

Two engines, 31 oscillator modes: classic waves, wavetables, FM, Karplus-Strong plucks, granular clouds and noise, combined or cross-modulated per voice. Through the modeled polyphonic analog filter — lowpass, highpass, bandpass with resonance and keytracking — every patch keeps an organic, hardware-like edge.

Modulation that never runs dry

• Mod Matrix with 7 sources and dozens of destinations
• ADSR envelope, cycling envelope and 2 LFOs per voice with user-drawn curves
• Macros, velocity, aftertouch and MPE for expressive playing

From studio to stage

MiniFreak V runs in any DAW or standalone, syncs perfectly with the MiniFreak hardware, and lets you run multiple instances with different engine modes feeding each other. Every customer receives their own individual license key.
