Description
### The EQ that finishes the job
FireSonic FireEQ (from United Plugins) starts where ordinary EQs stop. Yes, it boosts and cuts — but it also evens out dynamics with the Magic knob, tilts the whole mix with Dark/Bright, and shapes the stereo image with per-band Side/Mid controls and Sidekill. One plugin, one insert, three mixing jobs. Now €49.99 instead of €110.
### The three big knobs
Depth controls how much processing FireEQ applies overall. Dark/Bright is a one-knob tonal balance — darker and warmer or brighter and more open, instantly. Magic adds the dynamics: complex processing that lifts what is quiet and tames what is loud, like a multiband compressor with a single control.
### 8 bands with Mid/Side per band
The graphic EQ spans 100 Hz to 12 kHz in octave steps, ±12 dB per fader. Each band’s Side/Mid knob decides whether that band’s gain favors the mid or the sides — tighten the center, widen the edges, or both at different frequencies. It is the kind of surgical stereo control usually reserved for mastering-grade tools.
### Warm shelves, smart low-cut
Low shelf (30–450 Hz) and high shelf (1.5–16 kHz) copy the curves of beloved vintage analog EQs, ±16 dB. The low-cut (0–500 Hz) offers slopes from 6 to 48 dB/oct, and Sidekill applies the cut to the sides only — mono bass, no phase headaches, safe on clubs and vinyl.
### Honest mixing tools
AGC keeps output loudness equal to input so you hear tone, not volume tricks. A/B with Copy, undo/redo, ±12 dB output gain, and accurate metering round out the workflow. 64-bit processing to 192 kHz+, resizable photorealistic GUI, light CPU with sleep mode when idle.

### FAQ
What’s included? FireSonic FireEQ — the full dynamic EQ plugin with all features: Magic, Dark/Bright, Depth, 8-band M/S EQ, Sidekill, AGC.
What does Magic actually do? It applies dynamic processing that flattens the sound — amplifying quiet details and attenuating loud peaks, similar to a multiband compressor.
Why would I use Sidekill? To remove stereo content from low frequencies, keeping bass mono and phase-safe for large sound systems.
Which DAWs are supported? Any DAW hosting VST, VST3, AU, or AAX: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, REAPER, Pro Tools.
Is there an iLok requirement? No — FireEQ uses a license file.
How do I get my download? Your files and license details are provided by the store after purchase.
