In The Mix Bassmaker

Description

Low End You Don’t Have to Build Yourself

Every mix lives or dies in the bottom octave. In The Mix Bassmaker exists to make that octave dependable: it listens to your track and automatically generates deep, powerful sub bass underneath it — always in tune, always under control. Weak kicks get weight. Thin bass guitars get a foundation. Synths, guitars and even vocals can grow a sub layer they never had.

Tuned to Your Track, Three Ways

Bassmaker locks its generated bass to a musical note for a fixed, solid fundamental; to an exact frequency when precision matters more than pitch; or it pitch-tracks the incoming signal, following every note change with a solid, pitch-following sub inside the range you set. Two engines, SUB 1 and SUB 2, let you stack a tight fundamental under a broader sub layer, with attack and release that follow the input so the bass breathes with the performance instead of pumping against it.

Character and Consistency

Raw sub is only useful if it translates. The TONE section’s tube and tape modelled saturation gives the generated bass the harmonics it needs to register on small speakers, while STABILISE — an intelligent low-end spectral compressor — irons out the level jumps that make basslines feel uneven, working on both the source and the generated signal. Set the smoothing, detection and quality modes once, and Bassmaker adapts from subtle reinforcement to full bass replacement across any genre.
